As we look toward our 2008 NCHJA Annual Show held this year on July 2-6, 2008 it is time to begin planning. At our Annual Meeting on January 5, 2008 this year’s co-chairs, Susan Gaines and Holly Hach kicked off the planning by announcing that the show this year would be managed by Patrick Rodes and his Southbound Show Management team.

We have lots of opportunities for our members to support our show this year. You may sponsor a division, cooler or ribbons or help sponsor one of our parties. There are opportunities to sponsor equitation classes or any of our special classes. Please take a moment to see what might be of interest to you. If you or your business is interested in supporting our efforts please fill out one of our Sponsor Sheets and sent it to our NCHJA Office at PO Box 33790, Raleigh, NC 27636. In addition to your financial support, we are also looking for willing hands in a number of areas. Some of which are opportunities to help before the show starts and during the show itself. We will be posting who is doing what and where we need help and who to contact to get started. We have a very talented membership with varied skills and talents. If you have a special skill or enjoy doing something in particular, now is the time to raise your hand.

This is OUR horse show. Let’s make it special.

We want to involve as many folks as we can to make this one of our best shows ever.
